Kindergym (under 3 ½ years)

A child centred program where the environment is structured to allow the child to explore with their carer, developing their physical skills, cognitive learning, as well as socially and emotionally.

Juniorgym (3 ½ - 5 years)

A structured movement program beginning with dance and warm-up activities then moving into the gym to develop skills in tumbling, swing, spring and landing, balance and fundamental sports skills. All in a fun safe circuit approach with carer.

General Gymnastics (5-12 years)

(Non competitive program)

General Gymastics is a generic activity that will, through the four basics of:

  • FUN
  • FITNESS
  • FUNDEMENTALS
  • FRIENDSHIP

Generate a competence which provides an opportunity for every-one to develop within their capabilities.

Our program is based on the Dominant Movement patterns of spring and landing, swing, tumbling/ rotations, locomotion and balance. These fundamental life skills are explored further with each session having a ‘lesson focus', giving children a broader understanding of their body and how it can move.

Children experience improvement in their trunk and limb co-ordination, strength and control, social skills and confidence while having fun and developing new friendships.

Learning opportunities are enhanced by small groups of 4-8 children per TriSkills teacher (accredited level 1 ACC). Sessions are held Monday – Saturday.
